Colorado Springs EV charging stops
Last updated October 24, 2026
Colorado Springs is long and thin along I-25, and the fast chargers are not
in one downtown cluster. The stop you want depends on whether you are
eating in the north-side retail at Briargate, walking downtown, or
continuing south and would rather not enter the city at all. The catalog
also has a large site at an auto mall that looks impressive in a stall
count and is a poor place to eat. Stall count is not a meal.
Electrify America is thin inside the city limits in this catalog pull. The
EA site that shows up for a Colorado Springs search is the Sam's Club in
Fountain, south of town. Tesla carries most of the in-town fast charging:
a 16-position site at Forest Bluffs, a 12-position site on North Cascade,
and an 8-position site at 215 North Cascade downtown. If your car cannot
use those, plan the Fountain warehouse or a charger farther up I-25 rather
than assuming a downtown fast-charge row is waiting.
How to read this list
Names, addresses, networks, and charging-position counts come from the
EVEats catalog, checked on October 24, 2026. The catalog is built from the
U.S. Department of Energy Alternative Fuels Data Center. A charging
position is the sum of Level 1, Level 2, and DC fast ports reported for
that site, so the number alone does not tell you the plug is fast.
Read the station name. Supercharger means Tesla DC fast
charging. Tesla Destination means Level 2, the kind of
plug you use for a long meal or an overnight stay. Electrify America sites
in these guides are that network's DC fast stations. The catalog does not
show live availability, kilowatts, price, or whether your car can connect
without an adapter. Check the network's own app before you leave the
highway. Store and restaurant hours change, and a restroom inside a
business is only available while that business is open.
As of October 24, 2026, these stops had no approved driver note in EVEats
unless a note is quoted on the page. A specific note about food or a
restroom is more useful to the next driver than another copy of the address.
Stops
Forest Bluffs Supercharger, Briargate
Tesla · 16 charging positions · 9258-9288 Forest Bluffs, Colorado Springs, CO 80920
Sixteen positions at Forest Bluffs is the high-capacity site, in the Highlands at Briargate retail area on the north side. This is the stop that fits a through-driver on I-25 who wants food and a restroom without going downtown. The shopping center has dining and store restrooms during business hours. It is not a mountain-town main street; it is a suburban retail lot, which is what you want when the clock is 30 minutes. If you are staying downtown, this is the wrong detour. If you are connecting to Monument and Denver, it is the right one.

Downtown Supercharger on North Cascade
Tesla · 8 charging positions · 215 North Cascade Avenue, Colorado Springs, CO 80903
Eight Supercharger positions at 215 North Cascade put you downtown, a short walk from restaurants and from the Antlers hotel at 4 South Cascade. The Antlers listing in the catalog is a Tesla Destination site with 3 positions, which is Level 2 for people staying there, not a second fast charger. Use the Supercharger if you need energy. Use the hotel plugs if you are a guest and the plan is to leave the car. Restrooms downtown are the restaurants and hotel lobbies you are allowed into, not a public facility at the stall. The catalog also lists a 12-position Supercharger whose name mentions East Tyler Street and whose address is 2727 North Cascade Avenue. Follow that pin if you use it; the name and the street do not match, and this guide does not treat it as the same downtown block as 215 North Cascade.

Walmart on Razorback Road
Walmart · 8 charging positions · 8250 Razorback Rd, Colorado Springs, CO 80920
The provider on this row is Walmart itself, not Electrify America, at the store on Razorback Road in the same north-side part of town as Briargate. Eight positions and a store restroom make it a grocery stop during open hours. Confirm in the Walmart or network app that your car can start a session here; a store-branded row is not automatically the same system as the Tesla site a few minutes away. If you only need a restroom and something to eat, this is simpler than downtown. If you need the 16-stall fast row, that is Forest Bluffs.

Sam's Club in Fountain
Electrify America · 6 charging positions · 4385 Venetucci Blvd, Fountain, CO 80906
This is the Electrify America site south of Colorado Springs, at Sam's Club on Venetucci Boulevard in Fountain. It is the stop to use when you are already on I-25 south of the city, or when you are arriving from Pueblo and do not want to drive into downtown for a charger. Membership is required to shop the warehouse. Six positions is a modest row. Restrooms and food inside depend on store hours and membership rules. For a non-member who just needs a restroom, Briargate or the downtown restaurants are the more public option, at the cost of the drive.

A large site that is not a meal
Phil Long's EV outlet at 1338 Motor City Drive is in the catalog with 10
charging positions, on the EVGateway network, in the auto-mall area. Ten
is a big number next to the downtown Supercharger's eight. It is still an
auto mall. Do not pick it because the count is high if what you needed was
dinner. The same caution applies to dealer lots on Auto Mall Loop. They
show up in a search. They are not where you take a passenger who needs a
restroom.
North of town, Monument's travel center is the next reliable food-and-restroom
pattern. South of town, Pueblo's garage Supercharger and Sam's Club are the
next city. Both are in the
I-25 guide
and the
Pueblo guide.
