About EVEats

EVEats helps drivers see what is around an EV charging location — dining, restrooms, snacks, and other amenities — so a charging stop can also be a useful stop.

A charging session often lasts longer than a fuel stop. The useful question is rarely only “is there a charger here?” It is whether you can eat, use a restroom, pick up a snack, or wait somewhere comfortable nearby. EVEats collects that information next to the charger, not in a separate restaurant search.

The product is a map of charging locations with notes from people who have been there. You can browse without an account. Signing in with Google lets you add a note so the next driver has more to go on.

How it works

1. Open the web app and allow location access if you want nearby chargers, or search for a city or area.
2. Tap a charging location to see the provider, stall count, address, and published notes.
3. Sign in to write a short note about food, restrooms, or other amenities you actually found.
4. Notes are screened automatically and reviewed by a person before they appear for everyone.

Notes from drivers

Notes are meant to be practical and specific: a cafe that is open late, a restroom that is actually accessible, a grocery store across the parking lot, or a site that looks fine on a map but has nowhere to wait. Do not put sensitive personal information in a note.

Every note is sent to an automated moderation service and then checked by a reviewer. Unpublished or rejected notes are not shown to other people. Location, amenity, and charger details can still be incomplete or out of date, so confirm conditions yourself before you rely on them for travel.

The web app

EVEats is available now as a web app at app.eveats.net. Use it in a desktop or mobile browser. iOS and Android apps are planned; this site is the company homepage, not the app itself.

Ads, when they are enabled, appear only inside the web app — not on this page. The privacy policy explains what we collect and which third parties the app uses.

Privacy and terms

Please read the Privacy Policy and Terms of Service before you use the app. You must be at least 13 years old. You can delete your account from the app or by following these instructions.

EVEats is a product of RenewableBytes LLC. The service is operated at eveats.net and app.eveats.net. Use of the service is governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, USA, except where mandatory local consumer law applies.
