I-25 from Colorado Springs to Fort Collins
Last updated October 24, 2026
I-25 along the Front Range is the easy corridor until it is not. The cities
are close, the chargers are numerous, and it is still possible to pick a
pin that is a downtown garage or a two-plug alley when you needed a store
on the highway. This page runs south to north and keeps the meal stops
separate from the high-capacity stalls whose host the catalog does not name.
Fort Collins, at the north end, is the place this distinction bites. Old
Town is a meal and a slow plug. The fast charging is in Loveland,
Johnstown, and Longmont. Read the
Fort Collins guide
before you exit for the square with a low battery.
How to read this list
Names, addresses, networks, and charging-position counts come from the
EVEats catalog, checked on October 24, 2026. The catalog is built from the
U.S. Department of Energy Alternative Fuels Data Center. A charging
position is the sum of Level 1, Level 2, and DC fast ports reported for
that site, so the number alone does not tell you the plug is fast.
Read the station name. Supercharger means Tesla DC fast
charging. Tesla Destination means Level 2, the kind of
plug you use for a long meal or an overnight stay. Electrify America sites
in these guides are that network's DC fast stations. The catalog does not
show live availability, kilowatts, price, or whether your car can connect
without an adapter. Check the network's own app before you leave the
highway. Store and restaurant hours change, and a restroom inside a
business is only available while that business is open.
As of October 24, 2026, these stops had no approved driver note in EVEats
unless a note is quoted on the page. A specific note about food or a
restroom is more useful to the next driver than another copy of the address.
Colorado Springs and Monument
Start with the
Colorado Springs guide:
Forest Bluffs at Briargate if you want north-side retail, 215 North Cascade
if you want downtown, the Razorback Walmart for a store, and Sam's Club in
Fountain if you are still south of the city. Coming north, Monument is the
gap before Castle Rock.
Monument Pilot and the Knollwood Supercharger
EVgo · 4 charging positions · Pilot Travel Center, 15455 Terrazzo Drive, Monument, CO 80921. Tesla · 8 charging positions · 17970 Knollwood Drive, Monument, CO 80132
The meal you can name is the Pilot on Terrazzo Drive: four EVgo positions, travel-center food, and a restroom that is the point of a highway stop. The Supercharger at 17970 Knollwood Drive has eight positions and does not name a restaurant. Use Knollwood when you need the Tesla row and then look at the lot. Use the Pilot when you need to eat and your car can start an EVgo session. They are both Monument. They are not the same driveway. The Knollwood pin is the Supercharger.

Castle Rock to Denver
Castle Rock
Tesla · 16 charging positions · 4612 Milestone Ln, Castle Rock, CO 80104. Electrify America · 4 charging positions · Target, 5010 Founders Pkwy. EVgo · 6 charging positions · Whole Foods, 6384 Promenade Pkwy
Castle Rock has a 16-position Supercharger on Milestone Lane and two store stops whose hosts are in the station name. The Target on Founders Parkway is Electrify America, four positions, with a restroom during store hours. Whole Foods on Promenade Parkway is EVgo, six positions, which is the better grocery meal if you want prepared food. The Milestone Lane Supercharger is the capacity. The catalog does not put a store name on it, so do not describe it to a passenger as the outlets or the Target until you have seen the building. The Target and the Whole Foods are the pins with the doors you can count on.

Park Meadows, Lone Tree
Tesla · 10 charging positions · 8401 Park Meadows Center Drive, Lone Tree, CO 80124
Ten Supercharger positions at Park Meadows. This is the south-metro mall stop: food court and restrooms inside the mall during mall hours, and a cleaner I-25 exit than driving into downtown Denver for Cherry Creek. If the mall is closed, you may still charge and you may not get inside. Denver's grocery stops, in the Denver guide, are the backup when you need a store that keeps later hours than a mall.

North of Denver
Thornton outlets, the 120th Avenue Supercharger, and Northglenn
Electrify America · 8 charging positions · Denver Premium Outlets, 13801 Grant St, Thornton, CO 80229. Tesla · 8 charging positions · 237 East 120th Avenue, Thornton. Tesla · 16 charging positions · 261 W 104th Ave, Northglenn
The food you can name is the Denver Premium Outlets on Grant Street: eight Electrify America positions, outlet-center food and restrooms during center hours. Walmart 1231 at 9901 Grant Street is a separate Electrify America site with four positions, and it is the grocery version of the same north-metro area. The Supercharger at 237 East 120th Avenue has eight positions and no store in the name. The Northglenn Supercharger at 261 West 104th Avenue has 16, the largest count in this stretch, also without a restaurant in the title. Plan the meal at the outlets or the Walmart. Plan the crowded-Sunday backup at Northglenn's 16 stalls, then see what is open on that lot. The Northglenn pin and the Walmart pin are separate from the outlets.

Johnstown and Loveland
Tesla · 12 charging positions · 5201 Nugget Rd, Johnstown, CO 80534. Tesla · 10 charging positions · 4705 Clydesdale Parkway, Loveland. Electrify America · 4 charging positions · Target, 1725 Rocky Mountain Ave, Loveland
Johnstown's 12-position Supercharger on Nugget Road is the capacity between the north suburbs and Loveland. The catalog does not name a grocery there. Loveland is where the building is obvious: a 10-position Supercharger on Clydesdale Parkway, and a Target with four Electrify America positions on Rocky Mountain Avenue. Eat at the Target if you want a sure restroom. Charge at Johnstown if Loveland is full and you can use the Tesla posts. The Loveland Target is the store pin. Details and the Fort Collins breweries are in the Fort Collins guide.

Greeley is the eastward detour, not an I-25 exit you stumble onto. Centerplace
has a Tesla Supercharger at the Target, 8 positions, 4400 Centerplace Drive,
and an Electrify America site with 8 positions at the same shopping center
on Center Place Drive. If you have already left the interstate toward
Greeley, that is a real store stop. It is not a reason to leave I-25 if
Loveland's Target is on your way.
Boulder is not on I-25. The turnoff is US-36, covered in the
US-36 guide,
with Superior and Flatiron Crossing before you ever reach Pearl Street.
