Lakewood and the west metro: charging stops with food
Last updated October 24, 2026
When people say they will charge in Golden, they often mean the mall on
West Colfax. The catalog agrees with the geography more than with the
habit. Colorado Mills, 14500 West Colfax, is in Lakewood, and it is the
best west-side combination of fast charging and a food court. Downtown
Golden, in this same catalog pull, is the Golden Hotel's Tesla Destination
charger at 800 11th Street: two Level 2 positions for someone staying on
the main street, not a highway row. If you need energy and a meal on the
west side, go to the mall or to Belmar. Go to Golden when the town is the
point.
How to read this list
Names, addresses, networks, and charging-position counts come from the
EVEats catalog, checked on October 24, 2026. The catalog is built from the
U.S. Department of Energy Alternative Fuels Data Center. A charging
position is the sum of Level 1, Level 2, and DC fast ports reported for
that site, so the number alone does not tell you the plug is fast.
Read the station name. Supercharger means Tesla DC fast
charging. Tesla Destination means Level 2, the kind of
plug you use for a long meal or an overnight stay. Electrify America sites
in these guides are that network's DC fast stations. The catalog does not
show live availability, kilowatts, price, or whether your car can connect
without an adapter. Check the network's own app before you leave the
highway. Store and restaurant hours change, and a restroom inside a
business is only available while that business is open.
As of October 24, 2026, these stops had no approved driver note in EVEats
unless a note is quoted on the page. A specific note about food or a
restroom is more useful to the next driver than another copy of the address.
Colorado Mills, one mall and three networks
Supercharger at Colorado Mills
Tesla · 16 charging positions · 14500 West Colfax Avenue, Lakewood, CO 80401
Sixteen Supercharger positions at the mall address. Colorado Mills has a food court and restrooms inside, during mall hours. This is the west metro's equivalent of Cherry Creek: a 20-to-40-minute stop with a table or a counter, not a convenience store in the wind. West Colfax moves slowly at rush hour. If you are coming from I-70, the Colfax exit is the direct one and it is also the congested one. The chargers do not fix that.

Electrify America at Colorado Mills
Electrify America · 6 charging positions · 14500 W. Colfax Ave, Lakewood, CO 80401
Six Electrify America positions at the same mall. If the Supercharger is the wrong plug or the wrong queue, this is the other fast network in the same building complex. Six is a smaller row than sixteen. The food court does not care which network you used. Arrive while the mall is open if the restroom is part of the plan.

Rivian at Colorado Mills
Rivian · 12 charging positions · 14500 West Colfax Avenue, Lakewood, CO 80401
A third catalog record at the same Colfax address, 12 Rivian positions. Confirm in the Rivian app that this is a DC fast Adventure Network site and that your car can start it. Twelve positions at a mall is worth the check. A Waypoint-style Level 2 row at the same address would be a different kind of stop, and the EVEats provider field will not tell you which you are looking at until you compare it with the network app.

Belmar, Edgewater, and Arvada
Belmar Supercharger
Tesla · 12 charging positions · 7171 W Alaska Dr, Lakewood, CO 80226
Twelve Supercharger positions on West Alaska Drive are the Belmar stop. Belmar is an outdoor shopping district: restaurants and restrooms in the shops, and a layout you can walk while the car charges, as long as you stay close enough to move it. There is also an EVgo site listed at 440 South Wadsworth Boulevard with only two positions, still in the Belmar area. Use the Alaska Drive row if you need capacity. The two-position EVgo pin is a convenience if you are already parked on Wadsworth, not the plan.

Edgewater Public Market
Tesla · 8 charging positions · 5505 W 20th Ave, Edgewater, CO 80214
Eight Supercharger positions at 5505 West 20th Avenue, the Edgewater Public Market address. That is a food hall, which is a better 30-minute stop than a big-box grocery if the hall is open, and a worse one if you arrive after the vendors have closed. The chargers and the kitchens do not share a clock. A separate Electrify America site is at the Target on Sheridan Boulevard, 1985 Sheridan, with 6 positions. Use the Target when you need a store restroom you can rely on during retail hours. Use the market when you want the meal and the hall is actually serving.

Arvada Supercharger and the Ralston Walmart
Tesla · 8 charging positions · 7360 W 56th Ave, Arvada, CO 80002. Electrify America · 4 charging positions · Walmart, 9400 Ralston Road, Arvada, CO 80002
Arvada is two stops, not one. The Supercharger at 7360 West 56th Avenue has eight positions and does not name a grocery in the title, so confirm the businesses on that lot. The Electrify America site at Walmart 4734 on Ralston Road has four positions and a store restroom during open hours. If you are hungry and you want a sure building, pick the Walmart. If you are low on energy and the Walmart row is small, pick the Supercharger and then look at what is actually open beside it. The Walmart stop is a separate pin.

South Lakewood has another Supercharger, 12 positions at 5395 South
Wadsworth Boulevard. The catalog does not name the host business. Use the
pin and judge the lot; do not assume it is Belmar. Belmar is the Alaska
Drive address. Farther south, Littleton's Walmart on Coal Mine Avenue and
the King Soopers pattern in Englewood are ordinary store stops if you are
already on C-470. For the north-south highway itself, use the
I-25 guide.
